We’ve scored a sponsorship with local football club
Gate 7 is thrilled to be sponsoring Crawcrook United’s Under 7s Rangers team. The club is located in Crawcrook, just upriver from our Gateshead headquarters.
Crawcrook United trains teams of boys and girls from 6 years up to 16-years -old. The club became a charity in 2023 and boasts an FA Accreditation: this helps it to lead the way in the local football and futsal community.
At Gate 7, we recognise the importance of supporting grassroot organisations that bring communities and young people together. As the 2025/2026 season kit sponsor for the newly formed Rangers team, the Gate 7 logo will appear on the front of the club’s shirt.
Sophie Kavanagh, Commercial Director at Gate 7, said: “Our Warehouse Supervisor approached me about sponsoring his son’s football team. I’m a great advocate of encouraging young people to be active and thrive in the outdoors, so I was delighted to help.
“Grassroots football plays a key role in promoting wellbeing and inspiring the next generation and as a business its great to be able to give back to the community.
“We would like to wish the Rangers team the best of luck and look forward to seeing how they progress through the season!”
