Congratulations to the U.S. Cerebral Palsy Women’s National Team (CP WNT) who recently claimed victory at the Women’s International Federation of Cerebral Palsy Football Intercontinental Cup.

Our brilliant Production Planner, Annie Wickett represented the U.S. alongside her teammates at the tournament which took place at Loughborough University.

It was an incredible journey with the U.S. team battling through a number of rounds before facing Australia in the final. The U.S. dominated from the first whistle and finished the match with an outstanding score of 7-1.

Annie Wickett, Production Planner at Gate 7 LLC, said: “It was a huge honour to represent the U.S. in the Intercontinental Cup and play against such brilliant competition.

“Having played for the CP WNT since it was founded in 2022, it’s great to be able to say that in just three years, we’ve won two major trophies! And this victory was made particularly sweet after losing out to Australia in the 2024 World Cup.”

John Reay, Executive Vice President at Gate 7 LLC, commented: “We are immensely proud of Annie and the U.S. team. They are a true inspiration and are creating a fantastic legacy in their sport and I’m sure will encourage the next generation.”
